SURINAME RIVER – DIJKVELDBANK
DREDGING ACTIVITIES
From 13th of March till 30th of April 2026 dredging activities will be conducted alongside the left bank of the Suriname River at the jetty of DAS EXPRESS OIL by the dredgers TSHD MAHURY and MV Kees Jr.
The working area is indicated by the following coordinates in WGS 84:

The dredging activities will take place around the clock. The dredged material will be dumped on the western side of the entrance of the Suriname River outside the navigation channel. The dredging vessels will be restricted in maneuverability during dredging and will carry the necessary lights and signs
Communication is through VHF channel 12.
All ships should take notice of the above-mentioned.
