ANNOUNCEMENT TO THE SHIPPING TRAFFIC

SURINAME RIVER
OFF THE COAST OF SURINAME
DIVING OPERATIONS

With reference to NtM No. 105/2025T, regarding the diving operations, the shipping is informed that the diving operations will be carried out on Monday, December 8th, 2025, from 12:00PM to 19:00PM off the coast of Suriname (06° 06’.298 N – 055° 14’.398 W WGS 84) at two nautical miles (2NM) from the buoy LS. The operations will be conducted from MV 7 STARS.

Please note:

• MV 7 STARS will be at anchor during the operations and will display the relevant characters.
• Vessels should keep a safe distance of 0.5 Nautical Miles(0.5 NM) from MV 7 STARS and reduce speed while passing.

• Communication is through VHF channel 12.

All ships should take notice of the above-mentioned.
