OFF THE COAST OF SURINAME
SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH
From February 23rd till March 7th, 2026, the research vessel Pacific Duchess will be conducting scientific research at seventy-five nautical miles (75 NM) off the coast of Suriname.
The research area has the following coordinates:

Please note:
- During the operations, the Pacific Duchess will be restricted in maneuverability and will display the relevant characters.
- Vessels should keep a safe distance of at least half a nautical mile (0.5 NM) from the Pacific Duchess.
- Communication is through VHF channel 16.
All ships should take notice of the above-mentioned.
