ENTRANCE SURINAME RIVER
HYDROGRAPHIC SURVEYS
From the 28th of May till the 2nd of June 2026 hydrographic surveys will be conducted in the entrance of the Suriname River from 10 km north of the LS buoy up to buoy R2 with the survey vessel MV Marwina.
The survey area is bounded by the following coordinates:

The surveys will be conducted from 7:00 am – 7:00 pm. MV Marwina will be restricted in maneuverability and will display the relevant characters during surveys.
Communication is through VHF channel 12.
All ships should take notice of the above-mentioned.
