ANNOUNCEMENT TO THE SHIPPING TRAFFIC

SARAMACCA CHANNEL
SHIPPING REGULATION 

With reference to NtM No.28/2024T, regarding the shipping regulations at the Saramaccadoorsteek bridge, the shipping is informed that the regulations will be re-established. The Saramacca channel will be temporarily closed in this section from 02 to 16 July 2024 from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm.

The pontoon K1005 will be used for the execution of the work. After the daily work the pontoon will be shored along the bank of the canal at which the pontoon will be unmanned and unpowered and will carry the relevant navigation lights.

Restriction:

• Vessels must pass through the area with caution.
• Passing is only allowed between 7:00 pm and 6:00 am.
• Communication with pontoon K1005 is via mobile: +597 8668666.

All ships should take notice of the above-mentioned.
