With reference to NtM NO.62/2022T, regarding scientific research of the coast of Suriname the public is informed that from April 26^th to May 17^th, 2023, at location 07° 21’.6060 N – 055° 41’.0199 W (WGS 84), the ADCP mooring system will be retrieve and will be carried out by the research vessel MV Atlantic Spirit.

For safety reason vessels should keep a safe distance of five nautical miles (5 NM) from the research vessel.

Please note:

• The MV Atlantic Spirit has restricted maneuverability.
• A safety distance of sixty nautical miles (60 NM) during the ADCP retrieval is advised.
• There is a SAFETY Zone of five nautical miles (5 NM) from the location.
• Communication is through VHF channels 12 and 16.

 All ships are requested to take notice of the above mentioned.
