In the Suriname River in the vicinity of La Liberte, between the buoys D6 and D8 approximately seven hundred meter (700 m) from the eastern side of the fairway channel, a vessel is on fire at the estimated position 05° 45’.533 N – 055° 7’.499 W.

Shipping and other water users should keep a safe distance of at least five hundred meter (500 m) from the burning vessel.
