With reference to NtM NO.95/2022T, regarding preparatory work of the coast of Suriname at the drilling location 07° 13.500’N – 055° 51.250’W (WGS 84), the public is informed that from 27 January to 30 July 2023 exploration drilling will be carried out at this location by the drilling vessel Transocean DD3.

For safety reasons vessels should keep a safe distance of one nautical mile (1 NM) from the drilling vessel.

The Offshore Support Vessel (OSV) that will assist during the operations is MV Siem Ruby

 Please note:

• Communication is through the VHF channels 16 and 77.
• There is a SAFETY ZONE of one nautical mile (1 NM) from the drilling site.
• Transocean DD3 is not maneuverable and will display the relevant characters.

All ships should take notice of the above mentioned.
