1. On May 17th, 2021 between 05:00 – 17:00 hour from Alkmaar to Traymore port.
2. On May 18th, 2021 between 07:00 – 18:00 hour from Traymore port to Alkmaar.

SHIP TO SHIP TRANSFER

From 28th April till 20th May 2021, ship to ship transfer of cargo will take place off the Coast of Suriname. Round logs will be transferred from the barges Big Hub 12 and Big Hub 17 to the MV Lygia. The barges will be towed by the tugboats Massive 3 and Massive 6.

The operation area is indicated by the following coordinates:

TEMPORARY ADMISSION OF VESSELS SMALLER THAN 50GT

From Monday 19 till Friday 30 April 2021 vessels smaller than 50 GT (the so-called Brazilian Schooners) will have the opportunity to call at the port of Paramaribo, taking into account the NtM No. 51/2020 T and the COVID-19 protocols.

The crews of these vessels admitted to port must remain on board the vessels. It is prohibited to sail with small boats (so-called dinghy) from these vessels without permission from the Harbor Master to other boats or jetties / mooring places. Logistical matters for the crew must be arranged by the shipping agent, after consultation with the authorities.

After April 30, 2021, there will be no more opportunity for handling and these vessels will no longer be allowed to enter Surinamese waters until further notice (after the pandemic).

SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH

From April 24th till July 10th, 2021 the survey vessel Bourbon Sapphire will conduct scientific and biodiversity research at seventy Nautical Miles (70 NM) off the coast of Suriname. Instruments will be attached to the seabed and suspended in the water column at various locations:

• Vessels must maintain a safe distance of at least one thousand meters (1000 m) from the survey vessel Bourbon Sapphire.
• All ships must maintain a safe distance of at least five kilometers (5 km) from the marker buoy.

DREDGING ACTIVITIES TOUT LUI FAUT JETTY

From 16th to 30th April 2021 dredging activities will be conducted alongside the left bank of the Suriname River at the "Staatsolie Tout Lui Faut Jetty" by the TSHD (Trailing Suction Hopper Dredger) Elbe.

The working area is indicated by the following coordinates in WGS ‘84:

The operations will take place daily between 07.00h - 19.00h.
The TSHD Elbe will be restricted in maneuverability during dredging. The vessels Martijn Eva, Dieni en Rodeur will assist during the operation.

With reference to NtM No. 24/2021T, you are informed that the wreck has been located and marked by a yellow buoy (light character Fl.Y.4s) at position 05° 47’.651 N - 055° 09’.529 W.
The remaining area of the river section has been opened again to shipping.

For safety reasons, shipping and other water users must keep a distance of at least 30 (thirty) meters from the yellow buoy and approach the area with the caution.

In the Suriname River, at 30 (thirty) meters from the eastern edge of the fairway, right opposite of NV De Molen at Dijkveldbank, a tugboat has sunk at position 5 ° 47.730'N - 55 ° 9.580'W (WGS'84). The wreck is unlit and not visible.

For safety reasons, all ships and other users should keep a distance of 50 (fifty) meters from the indicated location and approach with caution.
