On the 17th and 18th of December 2020 the MV ACE shall sail from Alkmaar to Traymore port and back. The ship will pass the villages along the Cottica River as follows:
1. On December 17th, 2020 between 05:00 – 17:00 hour from Alkmaar to Traymore port.
2. On December 18th, 2020 between 07:00 – 18:00 hour from Traymore port to Alkmaar.

SHIP TO SHIP TRANSFER

From 16th December 2020 till 06th January 2021, ship to ship transfer of cargo will take place off the Coast of Suriname. Round logs will be transferred from the barges Hub 12 and Hub 17 to the MV NING AN CHENG. Barges will be towed by the tugboats Massive 6 and Massive 3.

The operation area is indicated by the following coordinates:

From December 18th, 2020 till January 25th, 2021 the survey vessel Fugro Brasilis will conduct a geophysical survey in block 48, at one hundred and twenty nautical miles (120 NM) off the coast of Suriname.

From December 6th, 2020 till March 31st, 2021 the semi-submersible drilling RIG MAERSK DEVELOPER will be warm stacked at the position 06° 15’.992 N- 55° 09’.608 W.

Vessels must maintain a safe distance of 1000 (one thousand) meters off the drilling RIG.

Please note:
• Communication is through the VHF channels 16 and 77.
• There is a SAFETY ZONE of 1000 (one thousand) meters from the Rig.
• Maersk Developer is not maneuverable and will display the relevant characters.

Vaartuigen dienen een veilige afstand van ten minste 1000 (duizend) meters van het boorplatform te houden.

• Er geldt een VEILIGHEIDSZONE van 1000 (duizend) meters van het boorplatform.

From 23rd till 27th November 2020 hydrographic surveys will be conducted daily from 7:00 am – 7:00 pm in the estuary of the Suriname River with the survey vessels MARWINA and PASISI.

The survey area is bounded by the following coordinates:

The Maritime Authority of Suriname (MAS) announces that, pursuant to Article 17 paragraph 1 of the Port Authority Decree 1981 (SB 1981 no. 86), it is strictly forbidden to throw overboard into Public Waters, ballast, waste and rejected goods (including fishing nets, ice boxes, etc.).In accordance with paragraph 2, the prohibition also applies to the discharge of oil, oil-containing ballast water or oil-containing bilge water.

In accordance with Article 21 of the statutory regulation, it is also prohibited to place ships or wrecks ashore or leave them unattended without a permit from the relevant Harbor master.

All waterway users, in particular the fishing industry, are called upon to strictly adhere to the applicable legal provisions.
